When's your fall break?

MN gets a 4 day weekend, so not much of a break. It's usually mid-October, this year it's the 19th-22nd. I know of families who will pull their kids out of school for the entire week for vacation, so the 16th-22nd. We can't do that because my husband is a teacher and they do their conferences that week.

We're in Forsyth County (North of Atlanta) in Georgia and our fall break is the week of September 23-29

We don't get one in central Texas. Thanksgiving is our first real break.

Means "red wine." My drink of choice! My avatar is a pic I took at the Nemo ride during our first WDW visit, which has no relation to red wine whatsoever. I think I need to change it to a F&W pic.

I'm in SE PA and my district doesnt have a break in October. They aren't closed for Columbus day either. Just the Jewish holidays. We are closed the entire week of Thanksgiving but that's only our district. Other are open.

Most Florida schools don't have a fall break either but there is usually a Friday in October for Teacher planning so students have off which will push a lot of locals into the parks for that weekend. (usually the 2nd or 3rd weekend of the month)

All of the schools around here in southern Ky always have Fall break during the first week of October. This year Oct 2nd-6th.

I'm in Central IL and there is no fall break here. I think the kids get out 1 day in October for a teacher institute. They start mid-August (17th or so), but they're out before Memorial Day.

West Virginia schools don't have fall breaks. Get the whole week of thanksgiving off cause its the opening week of deer season in the state.

We are in Colorado. No Fall break for my kids. They do get the entire week of Thanksgiving off though.

We are in Las Vegas. We start Aug 14 and have Fall break the week of Thanksgiving. We have Veterans Day and Labor Day off too. Also the last Friday of October for Nevada Day.
