When's a Good Time to Get Bumped

I got bumped the Sunday after Thanksgiving and got free tickets - when is a good time to travel in order to do the same again?

Busy times are when people get bumped the most. Holidays, school breaks, etc. are common examples.

When I was in college and law school, I would get bumped at holidays and spring breaks. It was fine back then, but I rarely do my "fun" travel during those busy times now.
