do you say you're going to Florida, or Disney World or Orlando or what? For some reason, our whole family says Florida. Then we say Disney World when they ask where in Florida. I'm just curious.

Now that I think of it, I kept saying I was going to Florida too! When people would ask I would say then I was going to Orlando, and then Universal and Disney!

We always say Florida, the rest of the family knows we mean Disney. LOL :teeth:
Unfortunately we are not going this year. :(

We just say we're going to Disney World. Of course, no one really asks anymore. They know where we are going for vacation.

Usually Florida. The inevitable next question is always "where in Florida?" - of course the answer is always WDW - at which point we usually get this:

We say that we're going to Disney World. My husband is from Florida and most of his family is still living in Florida so the assumption is that when we say we are going to Florida that it's to visit his family. As much as I love my in-laws I do not consider visiting family a vacation LOL.

I usually say Florida. But am not hesitant to throw in Disney World! Most people on the West coast think Disneyland, even if you say Walt Disney World----I want to make it crystal clear, that, oh not, we're not just going to DisneyLAND, we're going to the WORLD in Florida!! Oooooo....Aaaaahhhh...

I always say "I'm going to DisneyWorld." I also get the looks:rolleyes: But everyone comes to me for planning assistance and where to stay, what to do....ect.ect.ect

I say Florida as well... not sure why but I do... I probably get less flak from my family when I say that :p

I always say "Disney World" too. Of course, that may be bacause I'm always in Florida. :teeth:

I specifically say Disney World, because that is where I go. I never leave property.

Now that I think about it, I say Florida, then when they ask where in Florida, and I say WDW, they beg me to take them or to get them a souvenior.....

I always say Florida too. I don't know why. Maybe cause I'm sick of all the comments. :D

to the people that I know know the difference between WDW and DL I just say WDW, to the one's that don't I say Florida, then WDW, and even then sometimes they are confused, "Isn't that in California?"

I live in Georgia and many people here always vacation in Florida, on the panhandle or wherever. So I always just say Disneyworld because I know they'll ask anyway! :p

I say "DisneyWorld"... It's funny that a lot of people then ask "The one in California, or the one in Florida?"

Maybe I should just say Florida.........? :p
