When your BRP rate is lowered, do they tell you?

I think I read here they do inform you, but I can't recall how they tell you. (?) FOr those who have had their BRP rates lowered, do they send you an email? Just curious. This is the first time we are using BRP for our March trip. (unfortunately our October trip was in the black hole time when BRP was announced, but our trip was already under the old 60 day rule) Although I am happy with the rate I have, I would love to pay less, LOL.

Hi,

They sent me an email. I have our room for our Jan 06 trip booked with the BRP and when the rate was reduced I recieved and email indicating the new rate and a credit to my credit card for the differance between the old nightly rate and the new.

My BR was lowered & I didn't receive any notification....Needless to say, when I checked my ressie, it was a wonderful surprise!

I received an email message telling me my rate dropped. It was a pleasant surpise.

I saw the rate change online, then a few days later a credit was posted to my card, then I got an email.

I didn't get an e-mail, but I was called and told that the rate had been lowered.
