do you ever get to keep the original ticket?

We ordered 5-day hoppers but need to upgrade them to 10-day hoppers. The kids (okay me, too) want to keep the tickets we have-they're the hard plastic character ones and they have our last name imprinted on the back.

Is there a way to either change the existing ticket to give us the extra days, or deactivate it and allow us to keep the original ticket for souvenears?

In the past, we upgraded and did not get to keep plastic tickets.

When we do an upgrade and the system prints a new ticket we are required to turn in the old tickets with our other paperwork when we bank out.
