step on about 4x's and take the average?
uhoh my average is about 146 - gotta get that in the 30s
Im only 5'2.5"

I take any number that shows up twice!

Do you exhale? I always breathe it all out and hold very still (and pray-LOL)

Have you guys been peeking in my bathroom?

Since I got the digital scale last week, it rarely changes, but I always check three times!

Now that I have my new scales, The weight doesn't change.

I used to when I had a regular scale! I would weigh myself 3 times and take the best one, but now that I have a digital, I only weigh in once! :):)

LOL! I do the exact same thing! :p

I never thought about holding my breath, I think I will try that next time and see what kind of difference it makes. Great idea if it helps!!!:bounce: I usually step on the digital twice and take the best one.

I have my routine down pat...

go to the bathroom
brush my teeth
blow my nose
strip to my birthday suit

breathe out and get on the scale....

kick the darn thing and swear I will never step on it again...

then repeat it all again the next day

Too funny, glo!!! :teeth:

I usually go to the bathroom, strip to the ole birthday suit and weigh.......then I weigh again and if it is different from the first time, I weigh yet again....and some times a fourth time. I tend to take the number that pops up twice and run with it. :)

Yep, I step on the scale three or four times.

Yep, I exhale to get every ounce of breath out too.

Also, I line the scale up with the exact same tile each time. Sometimes the weight can change if it's on a different tile!

lol, glo. Blowing your nose should take a few ozs. off. ;)

I hate scales! I just broke down and bought a cheap one so I can keep track & see if this Atkins thing works for me.:smooth:

OMG I'm laughing so hard! I thought I was the only one with a "scale routine" So here's mine - first thing in the morning:

Go #1
Strip to underclothes
Align scale to certain line on tile floor
Take deep breath then exhale it all
Get on scale holding on to sink
Slowly lift my grip off sink.

I do this five times and take the average.

I am starting to think I need my head examined!

BTW for all my shannigans, there really is only 1/2lb difference either way. It's just some weeks I really need that 1/2lb!

OMG!!! I never thought about exhaling. (I'll try that tomorrow.)

But I can guarantee that I do not get on the scale until I have gone to the bathroom. I don't care if I don't feel like I have to go, my mother's mantra of "Just Try" helps me pee out that last ounce.

Since I have a balance scale (like at Dr. office) [bought used and cheap from WW], it doesn't change from one time to the next, so one is all I do. But I do strip neked and pee my brains out.

When I weighed in at WW, I took off watch, hair bow, glasses, shoes, etc.

When I weigh in at WW I definatley take off my shoes and try to change to "light" clothes before I go.Lateley I go in Tevas soIdon't have to wear socks. SOmetimes I go bra less (I hate them anyway) I'll have to try the breath thing next :)

One week I had just finished drinking my 100 oz of water and forgot to go pee. I gained almost a pound. I learned my lesson-pee BEFORE you go!

I am glad I am not the only one who doesn't just get on the scale :)
