When you request a crib at a value resort...

So I searched for other threads and found that the value resorts will provide you with a pack n play. But what do you do for sheets? Do you bring your own or does the resort provide them? There are certainly times when dd needs her sheets changed in the middle of the night.

If you bring your own sheets, what size do you bring? If I bring the regular graco pnp sheets that we use at home, will they fit?

Thanks!

There was a sheet provided when we stayed at All Star Sports...but not an extra. I'm sure you could just call and request one.

Thanks for asking that question. I was wondering the same thing. The planner in me needs to know these things

When we went it was a Graco pnp. I would bring extra pnp sheets since they fold so small. This way if you need one in the middle of the night you aren't up waiting for dry ones.

I usually book a year in advance. Right now we're thinking mid-December and the planner is me is extremely anxious that it's only 4 months away! I have a lot of research to do before then. I've been to Disney 20+ times but this is my first time with DD and she'll be turning 1 during the trip. There will be a lot of firsts for me this time!

We needed new sheets when my son was little (twice in one night). We just called Mousekeeping both times and they brought new sheets. He was sick and had thrown up. They actually brought us a new pack-n-play each time with clean bedding. The second time without asking they even brought us a huge air purifier. I was very grateful because I was 12 weeks pregnant at the time and on the balcony about ready to throw up myself.

Wow! I love Disney's customer service. This is so good to know, thank you!

I'm the same way - typically booking a year in advance. I found great airfare and will now be going in December, joining my mom on her trip. My son is 7 weeks old today, so I've never traveled with him. He'll be almost 6 months when we go. I need to know these things. Right after I booked the airfare, I was researching how the TSA security check will work with him.

We're driving because DH hates flying. So I'm glad I don't have to worry about TSA regulations but being in the car 20+ hours will have its own challenges. Good luck and I hope you have a fantastic trip!

They will provide a sheet, but we brought regular pack and play sheets with us in case their detergent didn't agree with the little one's skin.

That's another good thought, thanks for bringing that up!

If your DS doesn't regularly sleep in a Pack N Play he may just reject the whole thing entirely. We requested a Pack N Play for DS's first trip in 2007. We were staying at POP. We laid him down in it and he was having none of it. I think he slept a total of two hours in it. We ended up requesting bed rails and he slept with me. Not the most restful vacation. I'm hoping the portable crib at AoA is more comfy so DD will not be sleeping with me on our upcoming trip.

Luckily, she does sleep in her PNP for naps during the day, so I don't expect that to be an issue. I guess I won't really know until we get there though. She's never slept in an unfamiliar place before.

I've gone 2 times with my son and he slept in a pack and play both times. Once at 9 mos and once at 20 mos. We made sure to take something from his bed each time. Familiar smells are comforting to little ones, however we did rely the resorts sheets and they were fine. Also..I wanted to add. They will bring them to the room and set them up so don't forget to have a tip handy. Last trip DH had all the cash on him and went to the car to get the bags while I stayed behind in case they came...well they did anD I had no cash for a tip. I had to take it to the desk and who knows if it ever made it to the guy. I'd like to think it did.

That you for that, I would have never thought of it.
