and then sand over it, is there another step prior to painting over that spot? I painted over a spot but now that area looks nothing like the rest of the wall. Do you wipe down the area with water? Prime first? Thanks!
If the rest of the wall has any sort of texture to it, you need to apply the texturing material before you paint it. Even if the wall doesn't have an intended texture, there might be a small one inherent to the wall. Otherwise I can't think of anything else.
We're having the same problem - we have the same color paint, but since it is old paint on the wall, it still does not match. Any suggestions for that?
