What bugs you the most about it? I'm torn between the non-cruise control or the smell of his car (man that thing stinks!). What about you?

It was the mirrors that I couldn't adjust on his van and it was a panel van.

The rest didn't bother me.

I can already tell helenabear's would be the fact of having to move the seat back to that perfect position. (I'm sorry but I cannot fit in her car with the way the seat is)

I at least make an effort to put the seat back where it was.

she drives a Satrun and its so little, also it had and automatic seat belt thingie, that i have to dissconnect

Well the last time I drove My DH's car, I killed it!

We swap our cars back and forth so I really never feel like one is mine and the other is his.

I know DH gets annoyed if I don't push the seat back when I get out of the car.....he's about a foot taller than me so you can imagine what he feels like trying to climb in if I haven't done that!

Let's see....dh hates driving my car because he has to pull the seat back before getting in (and always forgets and gets smooshed between the seat and wheel:rolleyes: )

When I drive his car he doesn't like the seat back adjusted so I have to sit up straight with an inch between my back and the seat.

That the buttons are in a complete different part, I can never find the right button where I am looking for it, and I hate the radar detector, he has it as loud as can be , it plugs into the cigarette lighter socket, this one is on the passengers side pannel ( not on the front pannel ) and it's almost on the floor, I can't reach it while I'm driving. The smell, yes, the smoke smell, that kills me!
That's why I never drive his car unless I really have to!

Poor car, what did you do to it, Cindy?

Well, the clutch was dying on it for lets say a few months....
I drove home from work on Monday night, smelt burning, and the then suddenly I couldn't downshift.

(I do know how to drive shift!)

Well it was a 1990 Geo, that we bought almost 4 years ago.

So, we are donating it tomorrow to Purple Heart!

But was that really your fault?

Did you constantly grind the gears?

No I didn't.. grind them that is... It was just the way things happened...

I was driving it, and it died, so therefore I Killed it! (my DH's logic!)
It could have died when he drove it, but well, it didn't.

So now, my nickname is Car Killer...
:o

Well.. we can start playing the funeral march now, Shannon!

BTW, all 3 of our vehicles are straight shifts.;) 2 are 4x4 trucks.:o

That Geo has an idiot light too. That thing bugs me.

I couldn't drive DH's car if I wanted to!

It's a stick shift and I never learned to drive one, and have no desire to!

Let see, DH has several different vehicles. One is a Harley Davidson, don't drive that. :) The other is a '67 Mustang, and while I love that car, I get tired of the stickshift driving in city traffic after a bit. The 3rd is a Dodge Durango, which I have yet to drive because it is SO huge and hard to parrellel park, which is a requirement when you live in the city.

Well up until recently it was the radio buttons stick(Im a big time station flipper). But now that DH has gotten his fathers car, it would have to be the smell. Smoke smoke smoke! I seriusly want to trade it in just because of the smell its so bad.
