When you have a fat day

you know, your hungry all day no matter how much you eat. Do you just handle the hunger pains ? or keep eating?


Me, I just eat and eat and eat, and after a couple of sausage McMuffins with eggs for breakfast the next day, I go back on my diet
 
I have been dieting though not hardcore since late last summer. I go through periods where I am starving. Sometimes if I am good I just drink a bunch of water. Last week I went to vegas and ate my way from one end of the strip til the next. Then came home and my son had his 16th birthday party and I proceeded to eat half a **** on his **** cake. I am back on the wagon now though. I still really need to lose weight. The thing I find that works good for me is to buy something the next size down so I have something to work towards fitting into. It has worked so far. I have dropped from a 15 to a 7 or a 9 or sometimes smaller sizes depending on the brand.
 
I look at a picture of my mother-in-law and I drop the cookie :)

But only on the days with a y in them !!
 
I will occasionally allow myself a "free" day, where I eat without worrying too much about it, then I work like a bugger for the next week or so to make up for it. The problem occurs when I really, really, really want 2 or 3 "free" days in a row. :scared1:

Aint no thing as a "free" day...I usually pay for it on ma bahookie !! :laughing:

The problem is eating enough, or eating too much. Some days I barely get thru a meal, other days I go through 3 full meals with constant snacking.
I have the food cravings of a pregnant woman, and I am no where near pregnant.

I've been really good being on South Beach Diet for the last 3 1/2 months. I initially lost 2" all around on Phase 1. Since moving up to Phase 2, I haven't lost a bit. My weight loss has completely stalled. :mad:

I've been having a fat day yesterday & today, and I decided to just indulge & eat & eat! I'm tired of being good if the weight is not coming off. Right now, I'm having an McDonald's ice cream cone. The menu said it's 150 calories. So I know how much I'm eating. :rolleyes1

Except when I'm really sick, I always can eat. Stopping is my problem.
