Take any over-the-counter meds for it or just suffer through?
I usually take daytime Contac and Nyquil at night but didn't have anything on hand this time. Felt it coming on Monday and by noon I was back in my flannel pajamas, and didn't get out of them all day yesterday. Woke up early, early this morning...couldn't sleep because of the cold. DH is on a business trip so can't run to the store for me and I haven't felt like going out so I'm just "suffering through" this time...sniffle...sniffle...cough...cough. I HAVE to get out this afternoon to pick up a couple prescriptions though, so will definitely stock up on cold supplies while I'm out!!!

I can't take any cold medications, they make me completely wacky. I think its the antihestimine (sp?) in them.
When I feel a cold coming on or have one that is in full bloom, I definitely take whatever I can find that will make me feel better!
