When you get your hair cut...

I love it when they wash my hair so yes, I always have them wash it when I'm getting my hair cut.

I never understand it when a client comes in and I send them back to be shapooed and they say "no I just washed it can you just wet it"?? I dont get it doesnt cost anymore (In a good shop) to have it shampooed and I do feel you get a better cut with clean conditioned hair! Also FYI some people do not realise that their head smells when just wet down, so it is more pleasant for the hairdresser to have it clean also!
The only time I do not shampoo is when I do a clipper cut on a guy then they get a shampoo after to get off the small hairs.

They wash and condition my hair before cutting it. And it does feel good.

Wash and cut, but never blow dry for me. I have been known to grab the brush and blowdryer out of my hair stylist's hands - she gives me a great cut, does great color, but the girl CANNOT style my hair! I let her do it a few times, years ago, and both times I ended up looking like a poodle.

We're at the stage now where we know each other so well, we just laugh about it - and now if she isn't busy she lets me sit in her chair and do my own hair after she cuts it. Sometimes I do HER hair, LOL.

I never thought of that. I'll remember that the next time I get a cut.

My stylist gives the best shampoos, he adds in a head and neck massage. Total heaven, I just melt. Ahhhhh.

It never even occurred to me to not have my hair washed and conditioned. But, I'm usually getting highlights done so it's essential to wash it and I also love the head massages my salon gives with the wash.

I haven't had a hair cut in 2 years. I would just let them wet it and cut it, I am cheap.

Going tonight and having the whole works, wash, cut, color, highlights.

I just sit in the chair and tell her to go on with it. I don't get upset with what she does as I know it will grow in and it is fine.

This stresses her because she wants me to be the driver. I tell her that it is her job to make me look good (ha ha lots of luck) and if I don't I will let everyone know who does my hair!!!

DH says he likes the hair wash if it's a female washing his...likes to look at "things" when they lean in to wash. I told him he can never go back!

I love having it washed, it feels sooo good. Besides it seems like they have better shampoo & cond. then I have at home. I don't have them blow dry I do that myself when I get home.
