When you get home from work

and if he isn't? :confused3

Pet the kitty, change scrubs, put on some girly television now that DH is working a late shift and won't be home to complain about my TV viewing choices. :cool1:

Of course, text DH that I am home so he knows I got home alright. Sometimes we are like ships passing in the night with our shifts.

well, when i go back to work (hopefully soon, in the running for a job now), i would first stop at the mailbox to get the mail and newspaper, then i would come in the house and change clothes and take off my makeup. like a PP said, i hate wearing makeup and can't wait to take it off.

Start hollering about what's NOT been done... :goodvibes

Sadly, this.

I usually work until 11pm. When I walk in the door, usually I kick my shoes off, start grouching about the mess and picking up, even as I'm still walking in. I enter thru the kitchen, which is a bad idea because I just can't leave all the debris everywhere. DH gets mad because I usually get distracted and don't make it past the kitchen for at least 15-20 minutes after I walk in.

Scold the dog for barking yet again when the garage door opens. it happens every day and that dog has yet to learn in three years.

Change into my comfy clothes so I can relax, then I get the mail....

feed the horses. The field they are in runs the length of our driveway, its easier just to stop and feed them on the way down than to go back--this is only if I am not wearing heels.

If wearing heels, I come home and change clothes first.

Wash my hands, at which point I can see that one of my 3 boys has partially peed on the toilet seat or floor. I get mad and ask who did it, each boys says not me, and then I say I am going to find out who did it and I never do. This is a daily thing:lmao:

I look at the answering machine to see if any messages while walking over to the back door to let the dog out.
Then I go and get the mail...unless I need to go as badly as the dog, then the mail waits.

When I was working first thing I would do was pet the dogs then run to bedroom and change into comfy clothes. DH actually does the same thing :lmao:

Drop off everything I am carrying, let the pugs out of the crates, try to calm them enough then let them out to do their thing. Once they in and done, put down food, check water and cats food. Then I change, pee, then finally sit down with something to drink and check Facebook.

This ritual usually takes 30-40 min...and this is only on days when hubby is at work..

Otherwise I come home, change, and then to the computer for the night.

take the dog out then change into comfy clothes
