I have been flammed once but I didn't get nasty with anyone I took the opinions and tried to see it from their point of view and it made me change my mind about it and bty thanks

I've never put anyone on ignore before, but I think if I ever did, I'd just like them to get a message that said "nanner nanner nanner, I can't "hear" you!!"

You would think people would be a little more grownup than to stalk other people with PMs just because someone has an opposing view. Sounds a bit like middle school to me.

I've definitely been flamed on a thread I started!
It was a little stressful since it was a very touchy subject & one that really concerns me.
I felt like I was attacked, & I felt like I had to defend myself & tell people why I was bringing this info to the board. I didn't get any PM's & never got points so I don't know if I was ever "reported" but I'm sure some put me on ignore!
I still don't regret starting the thread, I'm not bothered by someone bashing me or disliking me over my opinions when they don't even know me. I don't want to make people feel bad though. I'm pretty open about how I feel in real life & no enemies that I know of so...
I think sometimes people need to take a break from here & step away from the computer. Some of the people on here that I disagree with the most keep it interesting, I don't bother with threads that are dull.

I like the fact that there are so many different opinions, and people from different places here. It's amazingly cool to me that me and someone from the UK or Iceland can be talking about the same thing, in relative real time.

I just like it better when it doesn't escalate to name calling or ridiculing.

I like that idea. I would put people on ignore just for that reason alone
