using the store bought frosting, do you refrigerate them afterwards?

I need them for a party tomorrow, and was going to frost them tonight and leave them on the counter for tomorrow, but is it better to frost in the morning since I won't be able to refrigerate them?

I always frost them in the morning, because the frosting gets hard in the refrigerator overnight.

I usually just seal them in an airtight container like Tupperware overnight on the counter. They get a little "set" - like a sugar coating, but taste just fine.
