When you first registered to the DIS....

I started out on resort board and a moderater moved one of my post here, I am glad she did, but the moderaters on this board are not glad she did

I planned my trips on the planning boards. I still plan my trips using the planning boards.

When I ran out of trip planning questions I found the cb. I visited the cb for a long time but I like many other DISboards now.

WISH is my favorite.

There was only a few boards back when I joined. I spent most of my time on the Trip Planning and Inspiration boards back then.

I just found this forum. I was looking for information on USF. I really like it here, so maybe I will stay a while after my trip. Although you will probably get tired of my silly questions.

When I first registered, there was only one trip planning board (included parks, restuarants and resorts) and that's where I mainly stayed since we were planning our honeymoon. Not sure when I came over to the CB...glad I did.

I jumped ship from another message forum when I decided to join the DIS. I primarily read the Theme Parks, Resort and Community Board when I first signed up.

When I first joined the DIS, I had just decided to plan a trip to Disney, and mostly checked the Resort board to try to decide where to stay. Then I branched out to other boards. Since I check in nightly, I mostly go to the "View New Posts" and scroll down clicking on ones that caught my eye. Then, if the search feature is turned off, I'll check Resorts, Theme Parks, Tips, Transportation, Solo Travelers, and Disabilities individually. I will be having to prop one eye open and telling myself "I'll sign off after the next thread.....yeah, right!

We will never get tired of your "silly" questions here because there is no such thing as a "silly question" on the community board. Don't believe me? Go read anything by Jason Lyons, you'll see

Disnee Dad Says..................................DW lurked for a couple years to get us all the info we needed. When we finally joined it was theme parks, and budgets, to give out great advice.
It seems everyone is more informed than a couple years ago, so I go to CB first, then see if I can help on parks, and budgets.

Started out on the Resorts/Dining Board, Trip Reports, Budget, and the Cruise Board to plan for our WDW and Cruise vacation. I just stumbled over to the CB. I also post occasionally on the Scrapbook Board.

When I joined, there was the Trip Planning Board which I frequented a lot!!! Didn't hit the CB until they divided the Trip Planning Board.

I started at the Collectors board with the Pins but my
obsession has wanned in that Dept..(and my DH and my Pocketbook are very greatful) ...now I've moved onto the Scrapbooking thread and this one.

I found the DIS while researching DVC so the DVC board is where I went first, followed by the cruise board. I still go to both of those boards every day. Started reading the CB about a year ago and have added it to my daily schedule.

I found the DIS board while surfing for trip planning info. I checked out other sites but NOTHING compares to the DIS! I started out reading trip planning and budgeting and now, like off2disney, I hit view new posts and read away. If the search function is down, (why??????) then I will usually go around to most of them and see what's happeneing. It never ceases to amaze me the wealth of information to be found here. I would have to say that our April trip would never have been as great as it was if I hadn't come here! Thank you all so much. The July trip is even going to be better!!!!

Also, on a very personal note, I would like to say thank you all for being here. I know I haven't been coming here long, but you can't imagine what a godsend this board has been. I had basically one good friend here where I live and we had a major falling out and we no longer speak. If it wasn't for everybody here for me to interact with and participate in exchanges, who knows where I would be! My husband said to me the other day it bothers him that I don't have friends, but I told him it was OK, I have my friends on the boards! Granted he gave me a strange look, but I guess he figures if that's making me happy.......
So to all my newfound friends, thanks for being here!!!
