When you first registered to the DIS....

which board did you frequent the most? And do you still think of it as home, or do you just visit it every now and again? I was exploring information for a family trip (12 of us), and I found the DIS through a link from another site. I had some resort questions and stayed on the resort boards. For awhile, I didn't realize there were any other boards here. I check back to the resort boards every now and then, but not like I once did.

Which was it for you?

I started on the Rewards Board, and I still go there every day!

When I first registered, there was only one board.

Since I haven't had a recent trip to WDW I don't visit the planning boards much.

The board I went to the most was teen disney, it is getting boring. Not enough people posting on it!

I started on the resort board and spent most time there along with themeparks and restaurant boards. I still visit those boards frequently, well, daily .

I registered for the Debate Board, and recently branched out to News & Rumors and the Community Board. I hit up the planning section when I have a trip upcoming. Oh, and I frequented the cruise board before and after my cruise.

When I first got on here, I visited the Trip Planning Board. But, as you know, the board has gone through many revisions in the last 4 years. I spend most of my time on the Community Board now.

When I started, we just had one. Don't remember how I got to the CB. I just know that I am glad that I did!

When I first started there were a few boards. Trip planning, debate and community boards.

I lurked for a couple days until there was a thread on the debate board I felt I had to post to. That's when I registered.

My main focus was on the trip planning board. When I planned all I could plan I started looking around and found the community board.

I posted on them for a while, even after I got back, but most of you all know more about it than I do and so here I tend to stay.

I too remember being on the DIS when there was only one board, I signed up and was researching for my oldest DD's first bday she is now 5 1/2 ! Time flies when your having fun

I now realize I really am a lurker only 2hundred+ posts and have been on here quite a while LOL

I started out on the DVC board and still go there a lot but I also frequent many other boards including rewards, community board, rumors and trip reports to name a few off the top of my head. Annmarie

I started on the Pin Collecting board and was recognized by someone I actually already knew That made me feel right at hme from my very first day here on the DIS...it didn't take long for me to wander over to the CB

I registered for the Disney trips for Families and Resorts. After we took our trip I started surfing and ended up finding the CB, which I am very glad I did.

Haven't been curious enough to check out the debate board though.

I started out planning a trip with info from the resort, theme park and restaurant boards. My true addiction to the DIS came when we bought into DVC. I still check the DVC board when I'm on but the information seems repetative. So, now the majority of my time is spent here. With an upcoming trip, though, I'm venturing off to the other boards too.

When I first registered there was only one board and we were always getting reprimanded for going off-topic. So someone said - Hey why not make a board where we can talk about everything and the mods at the time said "that is ridiculous" - lol!!!

I started by frequenting the transportation board daily. Then I branched out to the other planning boards. Finally found the CB after I returned from WDW and was experiencing DISdrawal.

when I first registered there was only one board! That was back in August of 1998. I lost that id either in a crash or just forgot it, so re-registerd whenever the date showing is. I remember what a big deal it was when things split into 3 boards. LOL! My, how its grown!

The resorts board was my first. We were planning a trip and I wasnt sure where I wanted to stay. It wasnt long before I found my way to the other boards. Now this is the board I spend the most time at but do visit others as well.
