When you first met the podcast team

I first met Kevin, John, Kathy, and Will at the Dole Whip for Bawb meet last August in the MK during the monsoon!!

We were there, too and that has been my only time meeting any of the crew. Bob's son and Dianer were very sweet! And don't forget Anna!

I have to say, John took me off guard...but in the best way. I am not the most outgoing person in new groups (can't shut me up once I get to know you, tho....) and I was certainly a bit uncomfortable, kind of just staying back. John walked right up as friendly as could be, introduced himself, seemed to recognize my name and made me feel immediately at ease and part of the group. I say I was taken aback because he always jokes (or maybe he is really serious) about not liking being around people. So I either looked completely pathetic or he's fibbing about his anti-social behavior! I prefer to think it is the latter...but it was an amazing first impression that I haven't forgotten!

The Dole Whip meet was where I took the picture of the group and photoshopped out John and Kevin. I was proud of the fact that you couldn't tell they were gone. Of course it took the group all of 10 secs to notice there were extra legs in the picture.

I got lucky in finding it. I have multitudes of hard drives and cd's, dvd's here with image. I tried Photobucket first.

I first met Kathy Werling last week at Epcot. We just missed each other at DHS, but connected after dinner at Coral Reef. She is a delight!

I met Kevin and John last week. We had dinner at Jiko. Kevin even brought his purple Oakleys to taunt me with!

I sort of met the team at the TSMM Meet last December. Everyone was so busy and I know they do not remember me.

I talked to John few minutes. He made me feel pretty special since I wasn't doing well with connecting with anyone else. In truth, he was the only one who had a real conversation with me that night. He was so nice, I wish I could have spent the whole night with him. But he certainly had other things to attend to that night.

Besides the phone conversations with Bob that I mentioned on page 1, I met Teresa and Pete at the TSM event last year. But I doubt I let any kind of impression at all.

I said something cheesy to Teresa about her voice (which I'm sure she heard all Weekend from lots of people)

I sort of had a conversation with Pete about my autistic child, but I was so socially inept, that I didn't tell him who I was. Then minutes later my son started to have a meltdown, so we had to leave the party in a hurry without saying good bye or thank you to anybody, and I really regretted that.

This year I am coming CHILD FREE!!! So I just have to work on my social ineptness
