You've made your list, you know where you want to eat, what are some of the "you have to eat this" foods when you are there? Of course this is subjective, but it will be fun to see if there is a trend. Like everyone seems to like the Kitchen Sink at B&C...what would your tid bit be?

ok, here's my list of "must haves":

narcoosees: almond crusted cheesecake (sooooo yummy!)

liberty tree tavern: crab cakes (surprisingly good!)

brown derby: cobb salad and grapefruit cake (what can i say? love the classics!)

50s primetime: pot roast (DH's absolute favorite every time!)

coral reef: lobster bisque

Unless I had a dozen of my closest friends to share the Kitchen Sink with me, I'd rather get the No Way José sundae. The sad thing is that some of my favorite dishes have been discontinued by the restaurants.

But I could, off the top of my head, say that I'm glad the potato-wrapped red snapper at Flying Fish seems to have stayed put. There was a short time a few years ago when this was taken off the menu, but I think it came back because it was so popular.

We have never been to WCC. I told everyone we must get the skillet and the smores dessert.

We haven't been to Teppan Edo. I am not sure if the kids will like Japanese food. Therefore we are sharing 2 meals of steak and shrimp and steak and chicken. What we will do for dessert is beyond us. The choices seem very limited.

MK we MUST get the Pineapple Float!

PLus, we are making a surprise visit to B&C for the kitchen sink. he he can't wait until my teenagers see it.

I felt that way about the Guiness stew at the Rose and Crown until it was taken off the menu.

I like to try new things, so I don't feel too tied to anything. I will say that during our trip last December I had the beef tenderloin at Artist Point and it was quite possibly the greatest meal I ever had...and I mean ever. It was so good that I'll have a really hard time not ordering when we go back in September.

Beaches & Cream: No Way Jose

Chef's de France: Quiche

CA Grill: Pork Tenderloin & Goat Cheese Polenta

House of Blues: Voodoo Shirmp

Jiko: Filet with Red Wine Sauce & Mac&Cheese

Plaza: Strawberry Salad

Pecos bills: Burgers only

Rose & Crown: I always get the cheese platter, DH always gets Bangers and Mash (he misses home).

Boulangerie Patisserie: DD7 insists on the cake of the day which is always the chocolate cake

Tangerine Cafe: Schwarma Platter (once again, trying to meet DH's needs for a donner kebab)

Le Cellier: Mushroom Filet and Prince Edward island mussels

Artist Point: ALWAYS the mushroom soup and buffalo

Portobello: Rosemary chicken and I sub the roasted potatoes for the garlic mash (how it used to be) or the Bisteca alla Griglia (cheese encrusted steak---which is not on the menu anymore, but they will make it for you).

..........I could go on forever.

A shake (choose your flavor-but mine would be Oreo Cookie) at the Sci-Fi

Grilled Pound Cake w/ carmel sauce at LTT (lunch only)

Creme brullee at Chefs De France

A Mickey Ears shaped rice crispy treat whenever possible

Do you sense a pattern?
