One of the motivating factors for joining was that we would no longer have to worry about the price of the deluxe resorts. They were the only option that a family of 5 had.
What I find very interesting in all of these debates is the fact that, if you were to contact Disney about booking a room via conventional methods (Central Reservations or Walt Disney Travel Company), they would be adamant about the amount of guests per room. Their systems won't accept a booking for rooms that have more guests than the pre-determined capacity limit.
