When would you rather go to the parks?

I have a choice to go 3rd week in June 05 or November 6 -12, 05
what would you choose? Both have pros and cons. I just scared if I pick November we won't be able to lay out by the pool and relax.

November. That early in the mos. you should still have fairly warm weather and a lot less crowds.

If the pool is really important than pick June. However, it is crowded at that time (versus low crowds in early November). That being said, if you are able to spend 7-10 days in June you would have enough time to see the parks AND spend some quality time working on that tan.

You really have to think about what's important to you. I don't mind the heat, but I hate limited park hours, so I'd choose June. In November, you have to many nights leave the MK at 7:00 ( I really hate that!!), deal with more rides in rehab, and less entertainment around the parks.

But if crowds would make or break your trip, go with November.

As far as crowds, if that is election week in Nov., I'd steer clear. That would be the infamous "Jersey" week, which I have had the misfortune of experiencing before. You will have high crowds & limited park hours. It was our least favorite WDW trip. (They're all great, but the long lines/short hours put a bit of a damper on it)

As long as it's not election week, early Nov. is a fabulous time & should still be plenty warm enough for swimming.

Okay, just found out that the Week of Novemeber 6 is election week, Jersey week and don't forget Vetern's day, so which would any of you do?

GO FOR IT or go in June?

Remember the only time we have been was during Eater week.

Thanks for any help!!

I'd go in November. We were there during Jersey Week last year and the crowds weren't that bad. We went the first week in May this year and the crowds were heavier then. As for swimming, it was warmer in November then in May and we swam every night, at about 9:00PM, so I'm sure the day time would be fine for laying out in the sun.

No brainer here- November. No crowds and still pretty warm. We have gone 3 times in the first two weeks of December when it is even less warm and were able to swim most days. I just got back from a 2 week trip on 6/18- and I will never go in June again unless there are no options for us to go during the slower times.

Early park closing is a non-issue for us. We got twice as much done by 2 PM during the slow times than we did this last trip. Get started early and maximize your hours in the parks. The heat/humidity/rain/crowds won't bog you down- and you will be much more refreshed at the end of a day. Maybe there will be evening EMH or Enites if you need more time in the parks. We were happy to finish up at closing, linger over a nice dinner, and chill out on nights we weren't in Epcot or catching evening entertainment at another park.

It does take a bit more planning because the evening entertainment schedule doesn't run every night in every park, but you will easily be able to fit in the evening entertainment at each park.

Be prepared for a couple of chilly days, but for the most part the weather is nice- with comfortable temps, low humidity, and a lot less rain than June.
It was crowded when we were there this June, but the crowds don't really start to swell until the third week in June. I wouldn't go while school is out unless you have no other options. There is no way a group of people from one state can come close to the crowds of people from all states once school lets out.

Blessings :)

From my own experience, I'd never do Jersey week again. I have been in both summer (Aug) & in Fall (Sept/Oct & Oct/Nov)
I'd take Aug over Jersey week hands down, no question, even with the summer crowds - The benefits of summer hours & e-nights gave us more ride time which made it a more enjoyable experience for us.
Oh, yeah - it's not just Jersey, we met alot of families from PA & NYC who had partial weeks off from school which they took advantage of to hit WDW.

I have not been here for November yet. But this time of year is hot, humid and crowded at WDW. Also afternoon/evening storms are not uncommon.

if you have done easter week you can do anything. I would go for june with the longer hours and pool breaks

I would choose November hands down....The end of June you may have longer park hours but you need them because of the crowds and the heat and humidity wears you down! The first part of November is usually very nice down here, weather wise and still warm enough for the pool, besides the pools are heated! The only parks that would probably close early are MK and MGM, AK closes early anyways! With an early start you would be able to do MK and MGM in shorter hours anyways! It is the end of June now and the heat index has been close to 100! and when you are amongst the crowds it feels warmer than that! added to that our afternoon showers!

What and when is Jersey Week? :confused3

Jersey week is a week in early Nov. (not sure of the exact dates as I'm not from Jersey  ) when the schools are closed, so lots of people from there head to WDW.
