Hello!
I am planning a trip for my family. I have two little ones ages 3, and 5. It is their first trip. We are going for 3 days.
I was planning on the Feb 22, 23, and 24th. ( Mon, Tue, Wed)
but part of me was thinking maybe Fev 21, 22, 23 would be better (sun, mon, tues) due to Sunday the park opening earlier. My husband thinks you do not want to go on weekends at all and we should do the mon, tues, wed.

Also, we could also go a week later( last week in feb) but didn't know if that would be more crowded due to early spring breakers. I live in Utah and a lot of our schools our out the first week in March!
Thanks for your helo. This board is awesome and I already have so much fun stuff planned!

Hey there.
I am Jen in Lehi! We are going the 22-24 also. I agree with your hubby. You want to stay clear of DL on Sundays.

A few years ago we went to DL the first week of March. It wasn't busy and we didn't have more then a 20 minute wait for any ride. I remember that trip vividly. We drove and stopped in St George on the way home for lunch at Denny's and that is where I heard that Elizabeth Smart had been found. I will never forget it.

Have fun!!!
Jen

Unless your kids are really good at staying up late, it wont matter that the park is open later since you will be at your hotel sleeping (unless either you or your hubby want to go back and enjoy the park without the kids). If you are driving be aware that traffic from Vegas to LA on Sundays is crazy! Have a great trip!!

I would suggest to going Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This will keep your children on their schedule, and if they are early risers, then you can take your time to get dressed, eat, and mosey around until the parks open. I would try to be one of the first families in line to get into the park and make a bee line to Fantasyland to ride all of those rides! Then, maybe over to Toon Town. DCA has wonderful rides and attractions for the younger children, especially in Bugs Life area.
Have a great time!

thanks for the advice!

I think I will keep reading all these threads for more advice.
Even though I grew up in San Diego and had season passes.. I haven't been in 13 years!
