When will we get our luggage when arriving at night?

Plane arrives at 7 p.m., will use Magical Express. When will the luggage arrive in our room? Hopefully not the next morning, but hopefully not midnight either.

Well, it could be around 10:00 or even later. I would pack a carryon with anything you might need until the next morning, and then have them hold your bags until the morning, rather than have them knocking on the door around 11:00! It could be that those arriving later in the evening have longer waits for their luggage because there are fewer people working.

Our longest wait using ME has been 3 hours, the average being just under 2 hours (we've used ME 4 times).

I would pack what's needed for the night in a carryon, then tell the front desk at check in that if the luggage arrives by a certain time to please deliver it. If it doesn't arrive by that time to please hold it until morning. Have a great trip!

Thanks for all the suggestions. But do I pack our change of clothes for the next day, too? How soon the next morning do you get your luggage? I'm hoping real early, so we can get into our clothes for that day. I'm willing to pack pajamas in our carry-ons, but to pack a whole change of wardrobe for all for of us is just too much for a carry-on.

I'm still hoping we will get our luggage the night we arrive.

You can get your luggage the night you arrive. But, it may be pretty late. Only you can decide if you want your luggage delivered to your room past midnight. I would actually not tag my bags. I would pick them up myself at baggage claim, rather then have DME deliver them. Then you can take them with you..the bags will go underneath the bus. If you choose to do that, do NOT put the yellow tags on the bags you will be checking!
There is just no way of telling exactly how long it will take your bags to get to you....could be within two hours, could be more than that. But I would think that they would be there before midnight in all likelyhood.

We stayed at Port Orleans-Riverside in June. Our son's flight arrived at 10:14pm and he made it to our room at around 11:30 using ME. Bags were not delivered during the night. I called hotel luggage services (or something similar) at around 7am and the luggage was delivered to our room about 10 minutes later.
