When will we get air tickets?

I booked our vacation directly through Disney, and they offered a great deal on airfare through Sun Country. I received the Magical Express packet, and got our KTTW cards and booklet w/ coupons yesterday. When will the Sun Country tickets arrive?

We leave on August 21st, so we do have some time, but I just want to make sure that I don't have to do anything extra. I did call with our TSA information (full names/DOB/gender), but I'm getting so anxious/excited!

Are you sure that they will send tickets? I have never booked through Disney for air but it seems that most airlines default to paperless tickets. I think you typically have to pay extra for paper tickets.

So do we just show up with our ID, and we'll be good to go? I haven't flown in years, so I have nooooo idea what to expect/do/where to go.

Not sure what airline you are one but you should be able to go onto the airlines website and get what you need. There should be a place to look at itineries - you should be able to get in with your confirmation number or your credit card number that you used to purchase them. We use Delta all the time and I have been checking our flights at least once a week. You should also be able to go in 24 hours before your flight and check-in and pay (if there is a charge) for checked luggage, and print out your boarding passes. If you can't find the info on the website I would give the airline a call and they should be able to help you and email you the information you would need.

Just wanted to mention that you don't get your KTTW cards until check in. Is it possible you're mistaking your luggage tags for the cards?

I booked my airfare through Disney last year (2009). They do not send tickets. I called them and got my airline reservation number (different that the Disney reservation number) so I was able to pull my airline reservation up online and then was able to check in online at the 24 hour mark and print our boarding passes.

You should really do this as well so you can select your seats. If you are on AirTran (or any other carrier) that charges for seat assignments you will need to take care of that outside of Disney -- or at least we had to. The flight we were on in 2009 through Air Tran was oversold and had I not gotten my reservation number from Disney and got our seats in advance we probably would have been bumped from the flight.
