When will we be allowed to make reservations at Animal Kingdom Villas using CRO?

I was just curious when they are going to allow non-DVC members to start making reservations at the Animal Kingdom Villas using CRO. We are going in January 2008 and I know the rooms are going to be done and we might want to stay in them.

Only a very small number of rooms will be completed by Jan 2008 and these will be converted rooms in the AKL. The new DVC building (AKV building) will not open until sometime in 2009. With all the members vying for these rooms, I'd bet CRO wouldn't have many to rent out at all.

I would try June.

some of the units in AKL - but these will be the villa (AKV) - looks like they will open in July.

DVC members can't use their points until Sept.

So you may be able to get in then.

DVD always kepts back 3 to 5% of any resort they build to use if something needs to be repaired. if nothing goes wrong, these are rented by CRO at all the DVC resorts.
