When will they finalize April park hours?

I am waiting for them to finalize April park hours. They usually make final changes the month prior. Any thoughts on when this will occur? It always means some schedule tweaking for me. THANKS!

Usually about 30 days out gives you a pretty good idea of the park hours. But they've been known to change them as little as 15 days out. "Finalize" and park hours are not something Disney uses in the same sentence.

April hours are updated already. However they can change anything at any time, sometimes within 24 hours or less...that's more rare, but you should always double check

NJ Goofy is correct. I will say that we will be going for our third April/May trip next month and the hours are usually the same each year (with the exception of the new nighttime hours for AK). I wouldn't expect too much change at this point.

you will know the park hours are when the park close for the day. I have been at disney in the afternoon, when you hear over the loud speakers that the park hour have been extended.This dose not happen open but it does happen some.

Usually it's mid month the month before....or that's been the trend since last year at this time. But I think they updated some of April's hours earlier...maybe bc of Spring Break season.

ETA: they can still change days before or even the day of. We went in June last year. There was a comprehensive extension of hours around May 15. However, maybe a week before our trip they changed opening at MK from 9am to 8am on several days. We never had any changes day of though.

I just had to ask the universe. They have now been updated through the end of the month adding a couple of extra hours each day to the MK. Now, I can start the schedule adjustments. THANKS to all!

In recent times it seems they have been finalizing about 2 weeks in advance.
I'm guessing its not finalized as of yet because other than AK extending their hours from 7apm to 9:30pm the other park hours have remained the same for the last nearly 6 months.
I'm still waiting on MK hours to extend for April 13th.
Come on the week leading up to Easter and you're NOT going to extend your hours? I'm sure you are so just do it already lol.

Hmm they must have JUST finalized then because as of Thursday night/Friday morning it was still saying 9am-10pm.

They also added AM EMH?
That was the only day they didn't have EMH which is why we chose that day since we are staying offsite for the first time since 2004.

I will be there April 10th -13th too, staying off site this time. I figured MK would open at 8:00 AM but kept waiting and waiting for the official hours to change. Now I'm happy and sad! I like the 8:00 AM opening, but I don't like that they made that day another EMH day. All the MK days during our whole trip are EMH mornings. Bye bye rope drop! Looks like I will have to use the old magic bands I have from my last trip to make some same day fastpasses on my MK day since the rope drop advantage is now gone.

Nice my first park day is 4/18. Already made fast passes for magic kingdom so now we can go at 7. Will the park feel pretty much empty from 7-9 or does it start to fill up quick? Will I be fine if I arrive around 715/730?

It'll be slow. The earlier you get there the less people

So it looks like there are morning EMH EVERY DAY for the week that we're there (Apr 9-14th)...I guess "rope drop" is only for on-site guests during the busiest weeks of the year. Of course, I already have FPs for MK on Thurs the 13th and a Brunch ADR at Chef Mickey's and I don't want to make changes.

Only saving grace...they kept the MK EMH on Weds night - I doubt any of those folks will want to get up early the next morning. And with the 8 am open the park should (hopefully) still be fairly dead that early. Still, it's disappointing to lose the magic of rope drop and being one of the first guests on the ride.

Considering the rates Disney charges for even "value" on-site resorts, they're going to have to keep sticking to the offsite people.

I closed out and restarted my phone and it still doesn't show the correct hours for 4/23 in the app.
