When will Southwest post fares for past Jan 4th?

This is what I found on the link.

We are currently accepting air reservations through January 4, 2015. On August 4, 2014, we will open our schedule for sale through March 6, 2015. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

Last time they opened, we booked just after 6:00 AM Eastern time.

Yep. Date subject to change. It already been changed from 7/28 to 8/4. I'm looking for the 3rd week of March so I'm guessing I won't be able to do anything until October. Meanwhile, I sometimes catch decent fares through Kayak on other carriers. Want SWA because of no bag fees and large family. I have a feeling it's going to be expensive when it posts.

We are exploring our options as well. I wish they would extend the dates beyond March 6th. I think you are correct about the pricing with the merger and evidently a recent lawsuit. Do you like Kayak?

true but many reports of SWA switching flights into the fall, probably a result of the merger coming to fruition.

will be interesting to see the new schedule when it's released. Would hate to see PIT get even less options.
