when will southwest extend reservation dates

we are travelling in less than 6 months and still waiting for southwest to accept reservations beyond 8/24....didn't the y previously usually accept out 6 months....we are getting close to 4 months...hard to make final plans until I see the airfare...

southwest is the only option for a non-stop flight in our area....

is their a usual timeframe a should be looking at for new dates to be released?
