When will rates be out for 2006?

I just called Disney to get rates for our trip next March ('06) and was told they won't have the rates until December ??? How can that be? How can you book something for early '06 when you don't even have the rates until the end of '05?

Was I given wrong information or is that true? I've never had trouble getting rates ahead of time before.

Usually rates for the following year come out sometime in August.

I called the other day for 2 days, 1/6-8, and was given this years rates and told they would be the 2006 rates would be out in early summer. I had a great CM, Fernando, that told me I had a code assigned to my name but it expires at the end of July. Hmmmm....all 5 kids will be at camp for 1 week in July.....

In January, the policy was that bookings were available just over a year in advance...don't know if that changed or not though.
