When will next winters water park closure be announced?

I know it's still a long time away! But we've just booked a holiday for the end of January 2020, and I know one of the water parks will be closed. It's been Typhoon Lagoon the last few years it looks like, but I was wondering if anyone had an idea what time of year the schedule for next winter will be announced? TL is our favourite, so I'm hoping it's BB, but it'd be great to know either way.

Probably this summer. It’s always one at a time. January is a great time to visit but water parks aren’t always open then due to weather.

Usually about two weeks after I have booked my trip and made plans.

I stayed last week of January for 4 nights this year. BB was only open I think for 1 of those days due to the weather.

I inquired this winter when we were at WDW and it was warm enough to go to a water park. TL was closed, BB open. Our favorite is TL. We asked a CM and were told that they alternate closing the water parks each winter. So, next year TL would be open and BB closed. Not sure if this is accurate, but what we were told.

That would totally make sense, but it’s been TL for a few years now, so hopefully time for a change

The first closes late October, so I think it should hit the schedule at the end of April.

We went February 2018 and 2019, both years only Blizzard Beach was open. We were hoping to get to Typhoon Lagoon this year.
