Some educated guesses...
Currently, the main public offers only cover late August through the end of September.
Free dining must be booked by the end of August... the current room discount must be booked by August 13th.
Typically, Disney limits how many offers they stack at a time. New offers aren't generally announced until other offers expire.
Further, new discounts/offers are usually announced on Mondays for the general public.
The past couple of years... October/November offers were released just after the July 4th holiday.
Thus, I suspect we might see October free dining, with an announcement on July 5th or July 11th.
I suspect to see new room discounts, announced either August 15th or August 22nd.
For the first time in 2010, they announced a wide range of 2011 free dining dates, in August 2010. If that was the start of a new trend, then we may also see a FD promotion and/or gift card promotion also announced on August 15th or August 22nd.
The main wrench in the works -- In the past, they couldn't release 2012 discounts before August, as room and package rates weren't released until August. This year, 2012 prices have been released earlier than ever before.
So it is possible they will also do an even earlier release of 2012 discounts -- Possibly with the July dates listed above.
I am hoping this will happen, but I'm not optimistic for a couple of reasons:
-- I haven't even heard about December PINs yet... So I doubt they are ready to ponder 2012 general public discounts yet.
-- They have been making an effort to wean the public off discounts, so I expect narrower discount windows, not wider windows.
-- The early release of rates, can be used to give Disney more time to see how bookings go at full rates... and then still have plenty of time to offer discounts if still necessary.
That said... they may take a strategy of absolute maximizing early bookings, and therefore offer an early discount. I'm not banking on this, but you never know.
So there are my slightly educated guesses.
