AAAHHHHHH....I called Disney yesterday regarding an intimate wedding for Monday, May 29th (that's in 90 days!!!!). They told me it would take 3-4 business days to get back to me. I just wanted to know if the date was free at the YC Gazebo or WP, but they couldn't tell me. I am a bit frustrated because I need to start hammering out the details for our wedding. We are trying to decide between a Disney intimate or an off-property wedding. Luckily, I already have our hotel reservations and rehearsal dinner taken care of. I hope they call soon. :worried: Thanks for listening. I will keep you all posted!

I feel for you...the wait can be so difficult. Especially since it's so close (90 days away..how exciting!) I have my fingers crossed for you that you get the call soon! :goodvibes

Call back and tell whoever answers that you need to talk to someone immediately to have a date checked. Tell them that you are on a time crunch as the date is in 90 days and you have to know whether Disney is available because that is the only date that you have available. Hopefully they will then be able to connect you to someone who can check the date for you.

I hope someone calls you soon! I wish you lots of luck! I remember planning about this time last year and I called and they took a message and said someone would call me by 5:00 the next day; that day came and went; I waited another day and called again to be told the same thing; the next 3 days came and went. Finally I called, a little upset, and got a call back that same day and got my date set. It took another few weeks to get an EM assigned. I don't know if that process of speaking to a sales associate first is still the way they do it?

Try what MommyPoppins said and maybe they will look kindly on you and you'll get to talk to someone today or tomorrow. I assure you, once it's book it goes a lot more smoothly!

Best Wishes :goodvibes

I would call back as well. Keep mentioning that you are within 90 days and that you are trying to decide between your options and need to know sooner vs later. Hopefully who ever answers the phone will get the urgency of the situation and put you in touch with someone who can give you the answers you need.

If no one calls you today give them a call first thing tomorrow. With it being 90 days away, you definately need to find out so that you can make travel arrangements, etc.

Can't believe it is all coming up so quick! You just split your wait in like... quarters!

Here's us all cheering for you- wonderwoman! :cheer2:

You should do what Mommy Poppins said and call and tell them your situation. I just called for the first time about a month ago and it took them about 5 days to get back to me. This wasn't a big deal for me since I have over a year to go, but since you have only have about 90 days left, I would be more persistent.

Last year, I called in April for a September wedding. I was told they would contact me within three days...my SM called the next day! It took awhile longer to get my EM (somehow or another they "forgot" I'd paid my deposit already) and I had to call to remind them.

I thought I read on another thread that they are assigning EM's right away...maybe that was only for customs.

I would give them until noon tomorrow to call, then do what the others have suggested. Remind them that you are 90 days out and would like to get some things moving forward. I would think they would contact you sooner (rather than later) since you essentially have to pay your balance 45 days (I think) in advance of your event (unless they've changed that too!).

Try not to stress too much (easier said than done, I know)...in the end, it will all work out MAGICALLY! ;)

HiWayGal is correct, you now speak immediately with your wedding planner ( I believe is their new term for it :confused3 )

I think all of us girls know how annoying it is playing phone tag with DFTW, but the great thing is you're not going to have to wait at all to get into the meat of you planning. So maybe you can distract yourself by wrapping up some smaller details. :)

Good luck, let us know how it works out!
Ashley
