Hey all,

Since the Magic is getting a BBB in dry dock, of course our DD is dying to go! Our 75 day mark is in about 3 weeks and I can't decide which day to try to get a reservation. I would ideally like her appointment to be on the optional dress-up night, which will likely be a sea day (we are doing a 5 night Western). Is there any way to know which day will be dress up night vs. pirate night? I can't find any navigators for a 5 night Western on the Magic (I'm not sure if she has even starting sailing them yet?).

Thanks for any info!

Typically, the dress up or formal nights on a cruise tend to be the second night (usually a sea day). I can't speak for sure whether this will be true on the 5 night Magic cruise you're asking about, though.

Pirate nights tend to be night 3 or 4 in most cases, but not always.

There was a 5 night Magic (from Miami) in 2013 and Dress Up Optional night was night 2, Pirate night was night 4.

Thank you! That's what I thought...but then I saw a 5 night Wonder navigator where pirate night was night 2 so I started having 2nd thoughts. It's a little frustrating that you need to book things at 75 days but don't really know the schedule.

While there are "normal" nights that certain events happen, things can change. For any number of reasons.

On our 4 night Dream cruise, typically night 3 is Pirate night. BUT, due to weather predictions, it was switched to night 2. Really messed with our servers minds.

For the November 15th 5 night western cruise, our cruise planner lists night 2 as optional dress up night and night 3 as Pirate night.
