When Will Disney Increase Park Capacity

I wonder at what point in their planning people are booking their park reservations?

For our November-December 2021 trip, I made park reservations a month or two after booking the trip. I was not sure what capacity would be like, and how busy it would be with the holiday season. I am hoping that awe learn more info about possible holiday festivities, so I can change my plans to accommodate whatever else we may want to do.

I booked a trip for April back in February, and had no issues getting reservations for whatever park I wanted when I booked. I am glad that I didn't wait around because I see that now, on certain days, AK HS and MK are unavailable.

Booked my park reservations about 9 months before we go. Glad I did snagged 3 HS days to try for rise. We have PH so worst case we just chill at the resort or do a resort tour till 2 and go else where if we don't get a bg and don't feel like spending all day at hs.( Yes we have to go but don't have to stay)

Park hours have been extended for June but park availability is awful. They really need to open up a bit more. I can just hear the conversations when customers call to book a vacation: “we can book you a resort room but check the park availability calendar because you probably won’t get the park you want.“. For example, June 6-11 you will not get MK or DHS.

Nobody knows for sure, or even what park capacity currently is.
There have been multiple reports of CMs being called back in multiple areas, so that would lean toward capacity increasing.
Do we know if any of those rumors are of cm hairdressers?? Bbb?

How does the ph work with covid? I was just thinking of changing to a base. We booked our parks a few months ago and aren’t going until end of October. So once we go to our first park we have to wait a certain amount of time to book the second or can we book the second minutes after entering the first park? Example, if we want to go on two rides at one park that might take from 9-10am can we book another once we enter the first abd go to that second one at 10? If we do so, can we go to a third later in the day?

You don't book the second. You can enter another park, after entering your reserved park, at 2pm, if there is room. The park hoppers are not tied to the park reservations, except that you have to enter the park you reserved before trying to enter another at 2pm. I believe there is a phone number, maybe website, saying what parks are open to hopping. You cannot get a Rise of the Resistance boarding group by park hopping to DHS.

Right now it's aslong as you entered the park you got a park pass for you may park hope after 2 to any park with availability. So far I do not believe anyone has been turned away for any park trying to hop due to being full.

Correct. Unless you have a HS park pass you have zero chance of trying for a boarding group. That's why I made 3 days for there in hopes of getting atleast 1 this trip.

We never had any problems getting it on both our trips last year. Granted, July was way less busy and you had to be in the park, but we went on DHS opening day. Thanksgiving was very busy though. We got it every single DHS day we had for both trips for a total of 3 days each trip. We didn't do anything special and don't have brand new phones.

Oh good to know. Can you hop to a 3rd after 2?
