I have been trying to book our room for August 08' and haven't been able to do it online. Does anyone know when they will open up?

I have already booked our Disney portion of the trip and would like to now book the universal portion, so all I have to do is pay for everything.

Thanks any information would be greatly appreciated.

My AAA agent told me Universal will not book my June 08 vacation until October. She has no idea why they wait for so long.:confused3

I booked our late Aug 08 stay almost 2 weeks ago. Have you tried calling?

Did you book your own Disney portion directly with WDW? or use an agent? I am deciding if I should do it on my own or not. My Aug 09 for Universal was booked last week by calling them directly.

I would CALL them and book it at rack rate...AAA rates will be out in September.... I usually book late June trips in September....

That does no good. Every time I or my agent book at rack rate, they will not simply adjust the rate. The cancel the existing reservation and make a complete new AAA rate reservation.

No offense, but I would leave your AAA agent out of your reservation. Make it yourself...I always take care of it myself...and I love my AAA gal (using her for DCL res). Call and book your date. Ask if AAA is available yet, if they say 'no', book it anyway. When AAA releases their rates, call back and say you'd like to switch the rate to AAA. They should do it...you are the first I've heard that they wouldn't do it for :confused3 So, if they won't switch it, say "Okay, then I'd like to make a reservation for...." and make the res w/ the AAA rate. Then, AFTER YOU HAVE THE NEW RES AND CONFIRMATION NUMBER, cancel the old reservation. Viola.....
