When will August park hours come out ?

It should be the beginning of February. Last year it was 6th Feb as we were waiting to make our ADRs for last August:thumbsup2

Also waiting for August hours, we can book from 8th February :yay::yay::yay:

I'm waiting too as we go on 22nd August but there until 11th September so then have to wait a whole month for September hours to come out as well!!!

We're there from Aug 21st till 28th so we're waiting as well. We've got the list restaurants so I'm hoping it will match the park hours. This will be the first time I'm using the online systems so I'm looking forward to making the bookings.

I am not so worried about park hours - it is the Fantasmic dinner package I am wondering about. Any ideas which night?

Release of park hours is fine if you are going after say the first week of a month. But they don't put then out necessarily on the first day of the month. Our check in is 2 Oct, ADR 180 day window is 5 April - meaning park hours may not be released for Oct when making adrs so a possibility of making them "blind" ....

I need park hours for August on 02 Feb :sad2: Guess I am going to have to guess to make ADR's

Fuse04, at least I am not alone! :grouphug:

I am using last year's park hours to go on. As soon as the new ones come out I will use my "+10" benefit to try and make changes if necessary. I am guessing that the further into my stay, the easier it should be using the +10. (hoping). The trouble is that Disney does amend hours 4-6 weeks out, or even less, based on predicted attendance so it can all go for a ball of fluff to a certain degree anyhow. Here's hoping you get everything you want and it works just perfectly for you. :thumbsup2:goodvibes

We are also using last years hours, hopefully that will be close, hope you also get the reservations you want, fingers crossed :thumbsup2

Thank you friend! Holding thumbs for you too. To be honest I have no excuse for stressing about this ...:confused3 I am on QSDP and only have 6 TS and BBB to book for DD, so it isnt a train smash, but our choices are mostly the kind where you need to be ready to click ASAP :surfweb: to stand a chance.

I am going to be watching for all the reports from you guys to see how it went. I have a habit of getting really enthusiastic:cheer2: about other people's holiday plans, etc ..... and tend to get really "into" all their emotions that go with the highs and lows of planning - which is really funny because by nature I am quite calm. One of the mysteries.

I will be working at home on that day to make sure I have every chance of getting what we need. Have not been in August so not sure what to expect as we have always got the ADR's we have wanted at other times of the year.

Let me (Rob) know how you get on

:rotfl2: I like your strategy: I had already planned to skip the morning at the office in the name of ADR's before I noticed it is Easter Monday so we dont open! :woohoo:

Looks like we are in the same boat on another point too::boat: I am also trying a new time of the year - never done October and never done Free Dining. I think it's the Free Dining thing that is bugging me a bit. I am sure we will all be fine. Nothing like a bit of pressure to keep things interesting though...!

Hi
I'm another one nervously waiting!

Ruthie

Well we all wait together. Welcome! :grouphug:

I just had to laugh. I read your post, then saw your ticker .... but I saw the first one. I thought 21 months? What are you worried about?! Then I saw the second one is the REAL countdown! :lmao:

Hi
Even though I spend too much time planning, I'm not sure I could stress out 21 months in advance!

Ruthie

I can't wait for the hours to come out, ther's 8 of us going in 2 families so we have got to do some serious planning. Times are out for August now http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...alendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage&date=20100801
Anyone know which is the best dinner show for Fantasmic?

It depends upon want you like, there are three choices Hollywood & Vine which is a buffet type meal and is the cheapest option, there is Mama Melrose which is a itialian where you order from the menu and then this is the Brown Derby which is a Disney Signature resturant serving the best food in DHS but also the most expensive. We hav eaten at all three, H&V has a good selection on buffet but is quite noisy, Mama Melrose is in a quieter location and is a quieter and more relaxing service at times can be slow but good selction of italian based food and large portions. Brown Derby very formal apart from the guest who will all be wearing shorts and t-shorts; great food.
