When will 2018 Hotel reservations open?

We have decided our annual trip this year will be to Japan! Yay!
Looking to book on site for April 2018. Anyone know when they open?

Also - is it better to book a package with tickets or to book separately? We are looking at doing 3 nights and 4 days.

I think it's 5 months before now. If you book a package, then it's 6 months before. The packages comes with extras (like extra Fastpasses), but I found them very pricey when I looked.

It's 5 months and you will need to book at 9am Japan time because rooms go so quickly.

Booked at 6 months with a package - we actually loved the package, ours came with fastpasses, breakfast with the characters and unlimited drinks in the park (this was fantastic as it was freezing and we loved getting hot drinks to warm up!).
