When will 2017 MVMCP Dates be Announced?

The historical dates of when the party was held is pretty easy to research but when they announced the actual dates is tougher to find. When those dates are announced will allow me to plan my upcoming trip day to day. Historically it seems the party dated are always Sun Tue Thur Fri each year.

I would love to hear the benefits of attending? We were planning on 2 days at MK. There are 6 of us. 2 adults, 2 teens, 5 yr old, 4 yr old. Should we do this rather than a 2nd full day at MK? What rides are open? What are crowds like for the party the Friday before Thanksgiving?

I didn't attend when I went. I couldn't afford it. I think it probably boils down to is it worth paying a premium for having easy access to rides plus the parade and cookies benefit.

Last year (2016) tickets for MVMCP went on sale May, 5th. Here's a thread with all the info you could ask for on last years party. I'm sure most will also apply to this year's party......except for the prices, those might creep up a little more than last year. Again, this link pertains 2016 MVMCP. For accurate info on 2017 MVMCP you should check DW website once it becomes available.

We attended on 12/15/2016 and had a blast. We decided that if we ever return during the holidays we will absolutely do another MVMCP (maybe two). Besides the parade route, it is almost like having the park to yourself. Many, many rides were walk-on, special characters that are exclusive to MVMCP, and the snow on Mainstreet along with the parade were great.

It looks like the dates were ANNOUNCED March 23 last year. They were announced in February of 2015, so who knows what will happen this year.

Held on select evenings, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is currently scheduled to take place on the following dates in 2017:

November 8, 9, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26 and 28
December 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22

Thank you, pretty spot on to what historically they have been the week after Thanksgiving since 2011, with the exception this year of Nov 30. No party and in years past this day has had a party.
