Dont make it a North /South issue cause I have lived on both sides and the North is waaaayyyy more segregated than the South....I live in a town in SC thats about 60/40 white to black....same goes for the Public schools....when I lived up North it was about 95/5....Also some of the most racist folks I came across on Both sides were from the North...When we were moving back from the North to the South...We sold our home to a Black Family, not in a subdivision just a rural home, well I wasnt allowed to tell anyone that a black family bought it....

I shouldnt have remarked on this....I work for the power company and I will just leave this alone...I have no proof other than my FIL on disability who doesnt get enought to cover his mortgage and is on food stamps cannot get power assistance...while we were there acouple time getting denied we saw others in suits nad brand new cars get there money....so thats all the proof I got...

That doesn’t mean ALL the blacks in your area receive assistance from the program, just the few that you saw.
