They take Palo reservations from 12-3:30pm on embarkation day and I'd suggest that you get on the ship and head right down to the area they are doing it in. For our cruise on the Magic it was at the Rockin Bar D on Deck 3 midship (you enter on Deck 3) so if it were me I'd go straight to the Rockin Bar D or whatever it is on the Wonder and stand in line before you did anything else IF Palo is THAT important to you. If it is that important you will have plenty of time after standing in line to ooh and aah about the ship but if you really want a reservation I'd try to be the first 50 or so in line to board and head straight there and pray! The suites and the REAS people get first pick of the Palo ressies before they even board and then everyone else gets what's left over if there is anything.
After doing the Palo reservations if you want spa ressies I would head there next and then to lunch. After lunch you can go probably to your stateroom and check it out and then explore the ship or the pools or whatever you want to do.
