When, Where, & How Do You Listen To The Dis?

I listen to a handful of podcasts, but the Dis is the one I actually pay the most attention to so I save it for during DDs afternoon nap time while I am making dinner or cleaning. Others I play through the docking station throughout the day, but it is hard to concentrate with a 2 and 3 year old running around. :)

I listen sometimes while working in the yard on weekends, but most times while commuting to and from work. I am in the car 2 1/2 hours a day, 5 Days a week. :( As the father says in the CoP, I am in what is called a "rat race" and it's not even the '50's. ;)

I used to listen in the car, but I have an FM transmitter, and it just doesn't do justice to the sound quality. So I either listen in my office at work or with earbuds later at home. I like listening at the office. I actually get a lot more done. Brightens the day considerably, too.

I think it's just plain dangerous to listen to the podcast in the car anymore. I laugh so hard that I can't concentrate, or I miss something and wind up fussing with the iPod to rewind. Neither is good for my driving!

I listen while wogging outside and sometimes while driving to various cities in our state for work. Love, love, love the podcast.

I listen on my iphone at work on Wednesday evenings when I work later than everyone else and the office is quiet, except for my laughter- or comments in response to the podcast team : )
I leave work early to coach soccer on Monday and Thursdays, so "having" to work late on Wednesdays is my secret briar patch thanks to the Dis Unplugged!:ssst:

This evening I just checked itunes a gagillon times and listened to lesser Disney podcasts... blech. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

...on my 45 min. drive to and my 45 min. drive from work! Yes, I'm one of those drivers you see with ipod earbuds and laughing all by myself!

Sometimes I play the podcast in "double speed" when I really want a good laugh :rotfl:

I'd love to have a "DIS" sticker on my car rear window to see if anyone would honk at me and do a "thumbs up"! :thumbsup2

hint, hint

:music: DH and I listen to it on his Zune on Wednesday night (sometimes Thursday night. cough! cough!) in bed after we have tucked the kids in. :music: It is "our time". :cloud9:

:goodvibes Jennifer

I listen at my desk on my computer -- while I have an iPod, I never get as far as loading it- I see it and get excited and hit play, LOL

I work at home.

I usually listen every Thursday morning at work. Most of the time I wind up closing my office door because I'm laughing so hard. :lmao:

This is me exactly, except my drive is 1 hr each way. I don't know what I'm going to listen to after I finish the entire archive.

I drive on country roads all the way to and from work so no traffic just driving.
I listen on my cell phone, not an iPhone...yet, next month they will be available with my service provider. :thumbsup2

Listening to all the old episodes and everyone highjacking everything poor Bob had to say cracks me up everytime. The way Bob would just keep going is hilarious.:lmao:

I really miss him on the podcast :sad1:

i got hooked when i was commuting into Boston for my internship, they were sooo key for that train ride. i don't like listening to music when i'm in the city because i like to hear what's going on around me, so it was perfect to tune out & pass the time while still keeping up my guard.

over the summer i worked outside and could listen to my headphones all day, so i listened to them a lot there...definitely got some weird looks when i randomly started laughing while arranging flowers!!

also when i drive...my car has an AUX jack so i plug my iPod right in, no sound quality issues! :thumbsup2

i also sleep with the podcast... i'm one of those people who can't "turn off" while trying to fall asleep, so thinking about Disney instead is a GREAT distraction.

i listen on both my iPod and computer, it's been tough to keep track of which ones i have listened to, since i've been going through the archives lately.

And i gotta say, now when a new show comes up...i really miss Bawb. :sad1: i COMPLETELY understand now, why everyone was so upset when he passed. That's actually how i found the podcast - everyone started putting up the memorial graphics in their siggies, and i was like "Huh?" and found my way to this board. i truly, truly understand now what a heartbreaking loss that was, for the crew & listeners alike.

ETA: OMG, people who drive with their earbuds in, PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE DON'T DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!! It's SOO dangerous, and i'm pretty sure it's illegal!!!

My work commute is over an hour each way two days a week. I try to save the podcasts for those days. I listen on my ipod plugged into the car stereo. Occasionally I will get impatient and listen on a walk or at the gym.

At work, on my Mac, using iTunes and headphones, generally in part to tune out the noise from the adjoining cubes from people who don't understand the concept of "inside voice". ;)
