We've been once in Sept, May, and Oct. Since our next trip is Sept, I voted there. We plan to do the early October trip and the late September trip in back to back years so we can get two trips out of the AP's.

May was okay, but not good enough to spend the extra points! :)

When we would like to go is different from when we actually can go....if that makes any sense.

Our two DD teens are so busy during the school year that it's impossible to take them out and not miss a zillion things. We haven't been able to travel over Christmas because my oldest teen dances with a ballet in the Nutcracker and she is committed to performances Thanksgiving to New Year's. But we would really like to be there for New Year's some day when she decides to give the Nutcracker up.

Our trips during the summer months have been accidental. Last August we had to use points which were in "holding" status because of a cancelled post 9/11 trip. We're going this July because we just added on points and we're going to make this our second week of vacation this summer instead of going to the beach somewhere (Cape or Islands).

As they get older I suspect our trips will grow shorter (long weekends instead of 5-10 days. Maybe we'll be able to go in off peak times. Here's hoping!

January/February or October/November, although we have gone in June and are looking to book July this year.

Our trips have all been in the summer. But for some reason, I really don't think of it as "peak time". The crowds don't seem that bad to me...but I guess that's because we're always there at that time.

But I think a typical day in mid-June is nothing compared to Spring Break or Christmas week....so that's why I'm reluctant to lump those together.

But I know there are only so many choices you can list. And it is interesting from your polls to see how spread out the visits are throughout the year. That tells me that Disney did a pretty good job of setting the point structure to even out occupancy.

Being from New Jersey we usually go over teachers convention. However, our DS will be playing HS football in a few years so we won't be going in November for 4 years. We also go quite often in March. Once DS is in college we can go whenever we want. Our other 2 DS's are through college. yippee!!!!

I voted for our favorite times to visit: January, October, & November.
We would love to try December (maybe in 2004).

If the Christmas season allows for us to work in a trip before or after actual Christmas, we would consider going then. Otherwise, like it will be this year, our backup is to go Veteran's Day week, in which my Catholic-school kids have three days off each year. Parent-teacher conferences are the end of that week, and I just plan to make other arrangements for that and take advantage of only having to pull them out for two days on a non-peak week.

Being that we live an hour and 45 minutes from Disney we like to go in Jan. (first week), March or May, September, and now that we added on points are looking to go for a couple of days in early December (first week).

We've done xmas (nice but crowded), october (very nice), and January (low crowds, but chilly!) Now, however, it appears we're consigned to the month of August! Our boys are in school, dd is just starting school next year, and it just isn't feasible to remove them for vacation. The boys are also into sports, and their dad usually coaches. Baseball season runs well into the summer, and averages 2 games per week, plus a practice. My eldest is getting to be quite good in this sport, and was asked to be on the summer all-star team, so kiss July and early Aug goodbye, too! THat leaves: Turkey week (our schools give the whole week off), spring break, xmas, and late August. We tried August in 2002 and were pleasantly surprised -- hot, yes, but crowds were low and the heat made the water parks and pools that much more enjoyable! We plan to do xmas in 2008 (I like to go when xmas lands later in the week... maximize the cheaper pre-xmas Dec days for points savings!)
