When I reserved my fantasmic package they gave me the impression that they would charge the package soon after reserving. That was about 6 weeks ago and our package is for 11/26. If you have done the package when was your credit card charged? Thanks.

We did the Fantasmic Dinner Package last month, and our credit card wasn't charged until sometime during our visit to WDW, and we had booked the package several weeks before our visit. I was also under the impression that our card would be charged within a few days of booking the package, but it wasn't charged until we were actually at WDW. (I just can't remember offhand whether the package was charged to our credit card after we actually ate at the restaurant or whether it was just sometime during the 4 days that we were in WDW.) I hope that this helps!

We did the Fantasmic package two weeks ago, but our credit card was charged shortly after I made the reservation. Unfortunately, the restaurant (Brown Derby) insisted we had NOT prepaid and had to pay AGAIN! Due to their slow service, we went ahead and paid because we would have been late to Fantasmic if we had not. Now I must battle with Disney for a refund of one of the charges. On the up-side, we really enjoyed our meal and the convenience of the package. My advice, if they do charge your credit card, take a copy of it with you just in case!

When requesting the refund keep track of emails sent, dates & times called, who you spoke with, what they promised etc.

If you get nowhere, you can dispute with the credit card company as a duplicate charge but you will need to document that you gave them the opportunity to correct it themselves.

My credit card was charged 4 days before we checked in. When we went to MGM on the day of the show, we stopped by guest services and they gave us 2 vouchers - one for Hollywood & Vine showing the time of our PS and confirming payment, and the other for the Fantasmic show. If you stop at guest services there should be no problem confirming your payment and if there is at least you can straighten it out before you eat!

We just got back, and were told the day before we left that we had been charged at the time of booking by 3 different CM's. When we arrived they told us we hadn't been, then told us to pay and pick-up our tickets at Guest Services. At Guest Services we were told to pay at Hoolywood and Vine. I will be calling Amex to see if we were in fact double charged. When we booked it they told us that we were being charged then.
