Wondering if people know when they were annouced last year? Was it more than 60 days out?
Do the parks close early on those dates?
I have no interest in attending, this is more about wondering if I plan my days for late August will they 30 days before announce the dates and then all my plans are screwed up. :)

I'm not sure, but I have read several rumors/teasers that said we're supposed to get some kind of Halloween news tomorrow.

Not sure which way you're looking re: visiting MK but historically our family chose to visit MK on party dates as many people chose not to go due to the shorter hours. Historically the crowds were lighter those days so we often got more done with shorter waits even though the park wasn't open as long.

So just wondering. I’m guessing there are no fireworks on those nights??

Thanks. I have MK booked for August 16th. We have a second day for MK so I'm tempted to go on the 16th and hope for lighter crowds, and do the fireworks our last day at Disney. My fear about that is we will end up on a day when they will have to cancel for weather or something.

They almost never cancel fireworks for weather. I've stood in pouring rain more than once to watch them. ;)
