When was the last time you got sick?

Last week - tues night ended up missing work on Wednesday cause of it

Its going around. A 24 hour thing. My oldest two swapped it last week between them. Luckily it seems they are the only ones to catch it thus far. We already did this dance back in Feb. with all 6 of us but it was more of a 72 hour plus thing then.

ugggh! Last night! I'm glad I found this thread, it makes me feel a little better to share about it, I was feelin' a little sorry for myself! This is a bad time of year not to be feeling well...too much to do!

Family vacation at AKL first week of February 2009. 6 of us in connecting rooms. Thank the Lord we had two toilets and numerous trash cans between the two rooms. We call it our $7000 dollar gift from Disney. Nothing beats running from room to room with a 2,5,11 and 13 year old going out/up both ends and doing the same yourself!!
What a waste of our hard earned $$ and our only vacation this year. It has totally put us off vacationing at WDW onsite.

Exact thing happened to us last December. We saved and saved for this trip - won't be able to go again for I don't know how many years (DH says that I have to be working full time before we go back, and my youngest is still 2 years away from pre-school....) and it was totally ruined! I never threw up, but DH, and two DDs had it coming out both ends almost the entire time we were there. Total waste of money and time, and just really heart breaking since it was all lost.

well, I didn't throw up, but I had some, er difficulties that kept me basically chained to the toilet for much of Friday night and into Saturday. I thought maybe it was something I ate, but maybe it is a bug going around Not fun, in any case.

My 2.5 year old daughter had it at the AKL too, in Jan of 2008. The whole vacation was crazy because she was so so sick. I got a bit of the bottom of of her illness, as did my 10m old son, but my husband stayed healthy and was on vom watch most of the time for my daughter. UGH.

The last time I actually threw up was Oct 2007 when I got a very bad bout of food poisoning, along with my husband, from CiCis pizza. I was 5 months pregnant at the time and it was horrible. Prior to that, I hadn't thrown up since 1997. Ten whole years without throwing up, and then CiCis had to ruin it. What a tramatic experience. When you don't throw up often (I can recall 4 times total that I have thrown up ever, and I am now 28) it can be a rather traumatic experience!

Oh yuck! I am so sorry! Well, at least there is hope that if it happens again, it can't be as bad as when I was pregnant. That was horrible. It felt like death was upon me. UGH.
