I usually go to the Fort Mid Feb -March and stay in a premium spot
but the last few years I have had to go at the end of march -
I don't think I have gotten a good discount in 4 or so years -
I used to get the Ap discount ,but not in a long time -
It's not like I was missing it ,because I called constantly to check
It was like it disappeared or something -
( I have gotten AAA- I guess it's something but doesn't make much of a dent -)
I was just wondering what was your last discount and when it was

Just wondering ,
Laura

We booked the first 3 weeks of November over a year ago. A couple of months ago (ish) when the AP discounts came out, we called within the first week and are saving about $10/night off a preferred site. Our friends will be there the first 2 weeks of Nov and also got the AP rate on their premium site right around the same time.

I have a AAA discount for my site in December. 20% off. It was a better rate than AP discount.

wow ,I am glad to hear you got a discount but 10.00 ,I thought they used to be more than that ,
The second year I went to the campground ,so I think it was 1999 or 2000
I had a postcard for a preferred spot for 39.00 per night -
I think last March was 109.00 does that sound right ?
Well lets try to post when we get a discount and keep each other informed -

Wow - I'd stay all winter for $39/night! :)

Unfortunately the rates keep going up and up and the discounts seem to be getting smaller and harder to find. In part because, at least up until this year, Disney hasn't had any trouble keeping the Fort full.

Over $100 a night during prime weeks isn't out of the question. :sad2:

We went last month for Matts b-day and even though I had booked a pop up site with the passholder discount on line, we ended up in a premium site for something like 40 bucks a night... I'd love for them to make that computer error again! Not having the sand pad sure did keep the camper clean!

used a AAA discount in June for our 2 week stay - saved us around $200

Never. We're AP holders, like many of you, it's bumming me out there's been nothing. I got a pin a few weeks ago, but it only applied to cabins. C'mon. Who wants a cabin when I've got my tenamant on wheels? LOL (Little National Lampoons Christmas Vacation humor) Please Disney...give me a discount! Or upgrade to a better site! Or or or...at least a frequent stayer card? hee hee

I agree with you 100%! They give discounts for every one of their other resorts almost all the time, but to get one at FW is very hard. Even when they have FL resident days, they only allow so many sites, and they book up very fast. We won't stay anywhere but our in our camper. We like to know that our sheets and pillow are clean. I would like to know how to get some of the discounts, because we try and stay several times a year at FW.

In June we got AAA for a premium site. It brought the price down to just below what a preferred site would have been. Every little bit helps when it's over $100/night.
