Hi.. do you know please which month is the most usual for AP price increase?
Any thoughts for 2021?
Thanks

After reading the rules I'm not sure if that link falls within the rules. I'm sure a mod will remove if necessary, but it's the best reference I could find.

Looks okay. Links that don't fall within the rules have their web addresses replaced by asterisks.

Thanks for this. I'm wanting to get an AP, but before they do the price increase if possible.

They just increased them in February, but who knows?

IMHO it would be a lot of nerve for them to increase APs again so soon when the product they're selling (no parades, no fireworks, no FP+, no park hopping) isn't what it should be. But you never know.

I'm hoping it's not any time soon, but I have tickets that I want to upgrade and we aren't going until May 2021. I'm hoping I can get that upgrade done before any increase.

My current AP expired 4/29, extended to 8/24, next trip is November. I started getting nervous so on 6/8, I bought a new Gold AP. I was afraid of a major price increase or a rules change when 2020 tickets became available. Thank goodness I did buy it because I would have been shut out of park reservations when they took AP's off the market later that week.

I'm going to be surprised if we see AP price increases for the rest of this year. I wouldn't be surprised if there are no increases next year either. A LOT of it is going to depend on how much travel is truly impacted, long term, by COVID.

Previously, speculation on when Disney was going to increase AP prices was still pretty speculative and unpredictable. I think given the current situation it's even more so. My guess is that Disney is going to be more focused on getting people comfortable with visiting the parks again and don't want to do anything that will spook off potential customers...like raising prices.

I'm hoping the price stays the same or even drops?? Does anyone know if the AP prices ever decreased? I can't imagine sales are going to be strong when they reopen given their limited use. Disney was already losing AP holders from price increases last year. They could bring back the "get a premium plus pass for the price of gold" for DVC like they offered a few years ago. Or maybe do something like 18months for the price of 12. Universal did that last year.

It's going to depend on how many people they need to come to keep operating and how many people are able to enter due to social distancing. If they have enough resort reservations that make it 1/2 or more and then use the rest for current AP holders, they might not need to offer any deals
