When upgrading to AP after arrival - AP resort discounts

If I plan to upgrade to AP after using my tickets once, and I have an AP discount on the room, will they give me 24 hours to produce the AP at the front desk? I know some trips they ask to see my AP and others they don't, but I've never been in this particular situation before.

You should be fine. If you're questioned when you check in, just explain you're upgrading and they'll have you stop by after you have it.

Standard procedure.

BTW, if you choose "on-line check-in" you likely won't ever have to "show anyone" your AP.
The system will internally see that you have upgraded.
