when to Waitlist?

If you make your ressie at 11 months out at your home resort, do you have to wait til 7 months to "change" to another location, and IF that location isn't available, do you then put yourself on a waitlist? Or can you put yourself on a waitlist at the same time you make the original ressier?

I don't think that you can get on a waiting list until there is no room at the inn. If you are interested in staying at another resort, be sure to book the week at your home resort at 11 months. Get your tickets and arrangements made. Then at 7 months, try to book at one of the other sites and either cancel you original resees or get on a wait list. We have had a few trips where we stayed at more than one site. I'd be lying if I told you it was a no brainer but the bell staff made the move as painless as possible and it was like having two separate vacations in one. So be flexible and have a great trip.
