when to visit MK in the fall

I'm confused on what would be the best days of the week to go to MK when MNSSHP is running...I keep reading it will be busier on party days, but then I also read don't go on weekends, or on Mondays, etc. Any thoughts or experience? Just in general, I know hours and specifics aren't released yet.

Don't think we will attend the party this year, and we are looking at 2-3 days available for visting MK. Would like to be able to see HEA once, so obviously would need a non-party day for that. Thanks!

conventional wisdom is the park is usually not as busy on party days as many either want to see HEA or don't want the shorter hours. Days in between parties are usually more crowded, but if you want to see HEA, you put up with it (consider the Plaza Dessert Party).

Sounds like you might want to do 1 party day AND 1 non-party day. You will have lower crowds on the party day, but will have to exit the park by 6pm if you aren't going to the party. On the non-party day you will deal with higher crowds, but will be able to stay later and watch the fireworks. I hear that Sept is a great month to go in the fall!

If you don't mind leaving the park early, I would recommend a Tuesday in September. When MNSSHP is happening, it is usually a non crowded day during the week and most people will avoid the park since it is a party night.

We went to the Friday party before labor and it was busy all day. I am assuming because it was Labor Day weekend. It seemed like most people paid for the day and the party ticket.
